One of the scariest things in life is the fact that life can be unpredictable and uncertain. You don’t know what will happen next or how a situation will resolve itself in the end. How can we live with life’s uncertainties? How can we function in a world that can not be predicted?
In the mist of the uncertainties of life, there is one constant that gives us hope. There is one thing that we can rely on no matter what. We know that God, the Architect, the Creator, and the Source of all life is certain and never changes. Life is may be uncertain, but the Source of life is certain and dependable. We may not understand why ceratin things occur, but we do know that all things will work together for the good of those who love God and who are called to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We may not know for certain everything our future holds, but we know that God thinks good thoughts towards us, to give us a future and a hope and He holds our future in His hand (Jeremiah 29:11). We may not know how or when it will happen, but we know the God’s Word and His promises will never return to Him empty or void. Rather it will accomplish what He sent it to do (Isaiah 55:11).
To live a life of peace and hope in the mist of an uncertain world know this; God is still in control, He loves us, and nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:39). That we know for certain! The only thing we have to do is trust Him.
